Shocker: sex addicts, tattooed bikers and stock traders most likely to break their iPhones

Gadget insurer SquareTrade just came up with their demographics analysis of people most likely to break their iPhones, and some of those are no-brainers. Situated at the very top of the list are stock traders, who are the whopping 40% more likely than the average person to break their iPhone.

We'd wager to guess Apple's 20% stock price tumble in a month or so had resulted in many an iPhone hurled towards the wall by angry daytraders to skew the results.

Next in line are people with tattoos and motorcycle riders, which are 25% more likely than the typical iPhone owner to damage their phones. Last but not least are people who have sex more than once a week, and who score 15% more chance to break Apple's finest.

“Who knew that people who have sex regularly also have iPhone accidents more frequently,” exclaimed the SquareTrade CMO. “We were also surprised to see that stock traders and tattoo aficionados had something in common.”

A tattooed stock trader with a Harley in the garage and a hot wife should be the true target market for them OtterBox cases then.

The sex addicts must be a joke right??? Do they use it as a di(k?? And happens more to those who have it more that once a week? Really? Does iPhone know the difference that it slips out of their hands?
Or the motorcycle dudes...what do they do with it? Throttle their choppers with the iPhone??

The whole article is a joke. They qualify "sex addicts" as people who have sex at least once a week. So that encompasses what, like every married couple ever?

This is here for its amusement value, right? Sex more than once a week makes you a sex addict? Gee, could it correlate with youth? And what, Square Trade is asking people with claims how often they have sex?

Stock traders? They're dropping them on the trading floor?

Sounds like a marketing campaign for OtterBox.

Apparantly Daniel P isn't getting any.. so anyone having sex more than once a week is a sex addict..

Btw.. A quick google search turned up several sites saying that sex 1-2 times a week is pretty average for a couple. So.. that's now a sex addict?

I'm surprised that this report didn't also include the data that if you have a data plan you're more likely to break your iPhone as well.
