Sharp introduces a Pocket PC device - W-ZERO3

Sharp Electronics has revealed the latest addition to its lineup of PDA phones – Sharp W-ZERO3. The new device is based on Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. Sharp W-ZERO3 has a slide form factor and resembles the HTC Universal, although it is about 6mm thicker.  The main features are as follows:

  • 65k color VGA touchscreen display
  • Bluetooth
  • QWERTY keyboard that slides out
  • 1.3 megapixels camera
  • Intel PXA270 416 MHz processor
  • 64MB SDRAM, 128 MB Flash memory
  • miniSD memory expansion slot
  • Windows Media player
  • Wi-Fi support

Sharp W-ZERO3 is currently available in Japan. It's not known what networks and frequencies the device supports, therefore it's not clear whether it will be available outside Japan.
