Want to hear a bit of "Heart and Soul." than go right ahead and watch the latest ad from Apple for the Apple iPad mini; the name of the ad is "Piano" and it features the GarageBand app on both the full-sized and bite-sized iPad...

What would be cool on an iPad or Tablet is somone mixing tunes using two (or more) devices like you would use two turntables. I wonder if it would craete a new DMC Championship category.

In as much as I don't like apple and any of their products, the commercial got a lot of concept attached to it with its simplicity.. P.S the piano sound is so kool..

For whoever commented about Alan's Apple articles, from the ones I've read, they haven't been fanboy oriented like Ray's seem to be. As for the commercial, from an objective marketing standpoint, how is this meant to sell their iPad mini or iPad 4? It doesn't do anything but show an on-screen piano keyboard. At least advertise some of the product's capabilities. Has Apple become that arrogant that they can just say, "Eff you, we don't need to tell you what it does or why you should spend hundreds of dollars on this one even though you have the one that came out 6 months ago, you're just going to buy it because we made it?"

Exactly what I have been saying - at least Samsung shows off the ability to differentiate itself from an iPhone. Any tablet can do what was shown in this commercial.

I went to the Apple Store today to check out the iPad Mini and it's just like the ad. It took me less than 10 seconds to decide to buy it. It is light and portable (I'm typing this comment from a 32GB wifi version in black). It's so thin!! Holding the device in one hand IS NOT A PROBLEM either in landscape or portrait mode. I can easily palm this device and I have short fingers.

Great build quality and that means I'm not getting the iPhone 5 as a device to replace my aging iPod Touch 4G. It sucks that I had to buy an adapter as a backup and I am now in the market for a new case.

I haven't decided to retire my iPad 2, but it's days are numbered. I already have a friend in my mind who will be receiving my gently-used iPad 2. Also, any gently-used jackets that can't support my iPad Mini are also getting donated (they go to the Salvation Army).

Despite all the bashing by the android folks, it's hard to deny Apple make great (and expensive) products. I am still amazed by the build quality and attention to details.

+1 to you - you took a gamble....hope it pays off for you. Meanwhile, I spent less and have money left over...for 25 gallons of gas.
