I'll stick with my Nexus 10 thanks. Not willing to pay out more money for a slightly higher PPI on a smaller screen.

Planning to get a Nexus 10, very good tablet from what I seen on the web. But other tablets with good specs are starting to come out.. Might as well hold out.. Who know, there could be a Nexus 10 2....

Agree. Sony Tablet, Asus Infinity with Tegra 4..... If you want a Nexus Tablet, I'd wait till the fall.

Nice, I could get this for my little one; don't have to invest lots on a iPad mini.

This title is misleading, as it implies "detailed" means "PPI." Both the Nexus 10 and the iPad have resolutions exceeding this one, which means their screens can display more details, regardless of PPI.

They can display more information, but in less detail.

Not bad. The new nexus 7 should do well in the market. I hope this one is going to have a camera. I currently have the nexus 10 and its not all I thought it would be. Its lags and freezes all the time. It constantly crashes and I have to restart it at least 3-4 times a day. Maybe mine is faulty or bad or something.

That definitely sounds odd... Have you installed apps from outside the play store or are you using a now defunct task manager?

Not really I had one and it lagged all the time. Plus battery life was horrible when I played games. Got about 3.5 hours of screen on time and that was about it. I blame the amoled panel. I dumped mine on eBay to some Russian guy and made $50 after fees!

The nexus 10 isn't amoled its an LCD. I find it hard to believe they perform how mines does. My nexus 10 was great when I first got it but now its performance kinda sucks.

I don't have any task managers at all and all my apps are from the play store. I do really have many either. Just typical games like temple run and angry birds. Its wasn't like that when I first got it in December but as of recently it hasn't been performing well and the battery life isn't as great either. I took it off the charger at around 8 this morning now its 10:45 and its already at 74%. All I did was visit a few webpages. The battery life was definitely better when I first got it.

Wow, that sucks. I was always tossing the idea around of picking one of these up. Thanks for the feedback.

Read the reviews and watch the pocket now after the buzz episode. IDefense e best performing Android device, at least mine is. Nicer than any Android phone or tablet I ever used.

I think these guys have crappy ones. Mine does crash during the more intense parts of Castle Defense but only on that app. Might be the game as far as I know.

Don't you just hate it when they pop out the "retina" buzzword when talking about high DPI?

"Retina" is not even a unit of measure, it's use is inconsistent.

Looks like the 2013 Nexus 7 may not be getting the Snapdragon S4 Pro processor afterall:

http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/06/14/new-nexus-7-may-have-just-popped-up-in-fcc-and-bluetooth-filings/

This is saying Snapdragon 600...

If they want to keep cost under $249, I would imagine they putting in the S4 Pro, which is not bad at all. I hope there is 2GB of ram.
