Second Android powered handset from Philips is headed to China
It may be unlikely we'll see this one in our shores any time soon; especially when you see the Philips branding on it. The second Android powered handset from electronics manufacturer Philips has been officially announced. The V808 will be making its way to China Mobile featuring a 3.2” HVGA touch screen, GPS, 3.2-megapixel camera, microSD support, 1000 mAh battery, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity. There are a couple of rendered photos that gives us a sneak peak of what to expect. From the looks of it, it has a flush front surface with rounded corners – it's a tried and true design that you can't go wrong with. So far there's no word on pricing or availability – then again, there are plenty of Android handset to fetch out of the sea right now.
