This is not a joke. You can google "Verizon Bold 2010 release date" and find the forum. The guy who posted it on Crackberry said that BofA hit the previous release dates perfect.

Just because you don't plan to buy the phone doesn't make it a "crappy" phone.

crappypunk & ajac09, you are both prime examples of uneducated, assuming idiots who constantly plague these forums with your mindless babble. Just do the world, and yourselves, a favor and keep your mouths shut when you feel like commenting on matters you clearly know nothing about. Thank you and have a nice day. ps - Please discontinue the use of the word "woot" as it makes you sound even less intelligent.

+1 ... The intention of the forums is to share information about upcoming phones, both phones you would buy and I would buy. I am glad to see diversity in the market and hate how personal people get over phones they don't want to buy.

All Blackberry's look the same and do just bout the same thing, other than the storm. I don't see a point in Verizon getting this phone. What can the Bold do that the Curve or Tour can't?

Curve2 compared to 9650 (Tour2 aka BOLD): Lower quality screen than Tour, Lower Quality Camera 2.0MP, No PTT Feature, Has WIFI, removed Trackball for Trackpad, Runs on EVDO Rev0 Tour 9630 compared to 9650 (Tour2 aka BOLD): Retains others specs as 9630, but gains: WIFI, Trackpad, More Memory. 9650/Tour2/BOLD Features: Trackpad, 3.2MP Camera, PTT, Global capability, WIFI, EVDO RevA, Higher Quality screen. Takes the best from Curve 2 and Tour and combines them. Tour 9630 will be discontinued.

The bold is basically like the blackberry 9700 but for CDMA users. It doesn't have all the same features, but it will be our high end blackberry, replacing the tour.

That's like saying my laptop looks the same as my old laptop so there is no reason to upgrade. Laptops don't completely change their design each time they release a new version, they have some minor cosmetic upgrades, internal hardware upgrades, and software upgrades. I don't want the design to change, I like the layout, design, features, etc...

Yeah i guess i didn't think about it like that but, I still don't think those upgrades are that vast that it would be worth an upgrade.
