Gone or hidden are the numerous perplexing options, and the interface seems pretty straightforward, optimized for all the meaty digits that might be thrown at it. In the Office 15 Technical Preview there is the possibility to permanently "pin" the Ribbon to stay expanded, which in Office 2013 RT for tablets seems to be missing or tucked away, perhaps with consideration of the lower resolutions...

Can I know which is better, Windows RT tablet or ordinary Windows 8 tablets?

Windows RT tablets (based on ARM architecture) will consist only of the "Metro" side of Windows 8, while ordinary Windows 8 tablets (based on x86 architecture) will be the full fledged version of Windows 8, including both the "Metro" and desktop sides.
Basically, ordinary Windows 8 tablets will be more functional and powerful, but will be more expensive. Windows 8 RT tablets will be equivalent to current tablets in form and function (maybe a little bit more functional with apps like Microsoft Office), and should come in much cheaper than full Windows 8 tablets.

Looks good, this is the first Office version for Windows that I can say looks pretty. Looking forward to what they're going to bring to Office 14 for Mac.

Windows 8 RT on ARMS CPU tablets need 2 killer APPs to be a quick hit as soon as they can be made available APP #1= will enable Window RT tablets to run Android Apps. APP #2= will enable Windows RT tablets to Run Windows x86 PC/laptop programs, games and ect. at least one of them is needed because Windows 8 RT tablet computers run only Metro APPs and a special windows Office soft ware package. it will take time for APPS developers to make enough metro APPs to make Windows RT tablets very attractive to buy
