As of Friday 24 April, music lovers who have been looking for an updated alternative of the LG Chocolate slider can pick up the new Samsung Trance U490. Just like most contemporary phones come in at least several colors, the Trance will be available in Piano Black and Electric Red. Features include a 2.1" 176x220 pixel display, 1.3MP camera, touchpad navigation, Bluetooth, VCast Music with Rhapsody, Bang & Olufsen speaker with ICEpower amp, multitasking capabilities (say, you can listen to music while doing other tasks), 3.5mm headset jack, 1GB of dedicated internal memory for music plus 16GB microSDHC card support. All of this can be yours this Friday for $49.99 after a $50 rebate on a 2-year contract.

Looks cool. But by the pics, it's a 1X phone only. So no V Cast music or Vcast period.
