Samsung's SPH-W7100 is a blast with a 100 decibel siren
Up until now, the only ways you could use your cellphone to chase away a bad guy was to threaten to call the police on it, or throw it at him. The Samsung SPH-W7100 has a better way as it is equipped with a 100 decibel siren that is as loud as listening to your music player through your earphones at full volume.  At the same time, a SMS message is sent out to pre-selected parties, seeking help and giving your location. It is expected to make its debut in Korea next month. With that siren, getting your kids up for school has just been made easier.

Lame. Waste of design time and money.

Maybe... but to many kids and girls it might come by as a very useful feature
