If the s800 then I'm real surprised by this phone. The last report led me to believe it was going to be less and that was unacceptable to me but I'm okay with this one. Not into this particular design but glad to see another s800 phone on wp8

Well, there hasn't been a WP device to date that hasn't ran a Qualcomm processor, and seeing that it's pretty much a S4 clone, It's probably safe to speculate that it's the 800.. But, wouldn't it be interesting if it was the 805?

I think it should be called the Samsung Universe S8

Well it took them forever to get the HTC Trophy, which was THE only option. Until a midranger Lumia came out (822? I had left VZW by then)... Nothing exciting until the 928... Now should be a nice shock of TWO impressive Windows Phone devices.
I am surprised, and happy for those on Big Red... I am not leaving T-Mobile, being plan-less makes life a lot better. And I am also hoping T-Mobile WILL be bringing in new high end Windows Phone blood as well. Or Nexus 5 it is.

Why are Samsung windows phones always recycled last years phones? Its like theyre only making it because they feel like they have to.

How is this supposed to compete with the 929? I better be cheaper.

I'm only excited to see Nokia's offerings and Sony's WP. Samsung always give a half hearted go at WP.

I would love to see a WP device by Sony, and LG...

Samsung could go suck a ###k. Throwing WP a bone while it copies elements of Metro UI and place it on Android platform, same goes for HTC. As much as I know WP needs OEM's to further increase its growth, Samsung is only playing MS also they hope that MS won't sue them over Magazine UX. I'd like to see other truly interested OEM make WP, not these two pretenders, in the past they were down for WP but now they are basically frauds.

For 100th time, Microsoft doesn't own squares. Why aren't they suing Flipboard then and why AOL ain't suing Microsoft? And when WP8 is getting separate volume controls, notifications, voice control and folders, it's "innovation" from M$ and it doesn't matter that Samsung and HTC phones have them. Sheesh.

For the 101th time,no one is saying that Microsoft owns squares however Microsoft owns the patent for Tile space user interface for mobile devices. Looking at the details of the Patent its clear that Samsung and HTC are indeed infringing in some shape or form.
AOl and Flipboard are not mobile devices.
When and if Microsoft decides to sue that is up to them, just pointing out the obvious.

Your seriously gonna bring up seperate volume controls, notification center, voice control and folders as a response? Folders were first used by Nokia with their Symbian platform. And voice control was first used in a smartphone by Apple, not Samsung or Google. Seperate volume controls aren't something Android or Google invented and the same goes for the notification center. However, MS did recreate the tiles and made them more modern looking, so they have the right to sue Samsung or HTC.

Folder came in the black update....
What I want to know is that after WP8.1 is released, with all of the features you listed, that other WP haters always complain about,, what are you Android fans going to find to complain, and put WP down with, next?.... I'm sure you'll find something..

Regarding to volume controls, notification, voice control (Tell Me) which WP had before Siri and Google, folders etc those are separate features are basically standard within smartphones, there are many features like full album art lockscreen, immersive mode, three dot menu etc that WP has had that Android is now implementing which then ends up used by HTC and Samsung Android devices, I doubt Microsoft would sue over those, Tiles however are front and center of Microsoft front end user interface experience that's why they patented it, that is a world of difference from some secondary features.

I request all my fellow WP users and fans to not react to the trolls who have or will comment on this article. Please lets make an effort from our side to not spoil another WP article with hatred and arguements.
