Samsung's new ad comparing the features on its flagship Samsung Galaxy S III with those on the Apple iPhone 5 has touched a chord among Apple iPhone fans who have responded with some parodies of the Samsung ad...

First one on the left is total biased, most of that iP5 features are available on SGS3, try again iFanboy :D !

I second that. The iPhone just isn't as functional enough for me. I like having widgets to give me information or to toggle setting without having to open an app to do that.

I was at a wedding and did a panorama globe sweep (Photosynth) with my Lumia 900. Three iphoners (and someone toting an old RAZR flip phone) asked me what camera I was using, and were floored when I told them that the pretty blue device in my hand was a Lumia 900, and if they liked it they should wait for a 920. Of the iphoners, one declined though commented on how they liked the screen size, one said he would return his iphone5 preorder, and the last said she had no idea phones could do that, and referenced the Sony camera that could do panorama sweeps from a few years ago (apparently there was an ad with some pop starlet for it?) and asked if she could play with it. I let her, and she was genuinely impressed. She was even more impressed when she accidentally dropped ot mid-turn, and when it hit the marble floor it didn't take any damage. She showed me her iphone4 with a shattered back and dented & scratched metal band (she had it in a case now) and described that it had taken a fall from similar height which caused the damage. During this conversation my wife came over and demonstrated the camera capabilities of her HTC Sensation. The girl hadn't realized how many other choices there were, and had just bought an iphone4 because she wasn't aware of other phones being able to message and browse the web. Ugh.
TL;DR: real iphoners, when presented with an actual competitor product and not speaking from their mom's basement, are able to see its grave inferiorities and deficiencies

People may consider the Samsung advert a little unprofessional as they knew it'd cause this sort of reaction, but at least they only printed facts and didn't blatantly lie.

It may be unprofessional, but I think Samsung has every reason to stick it to Apple for what they have been put through. Besides, it's not uncommon to see rival companies use these kinds of ads and publicity to put down the other guy. It's called competition, something that Apple apparently doesn't know about. Their idea of competition involves lawsuits and claiming unoriginal technology as their own, with every court victory being another slap in the face of technology evolution. Apple is doing nothing new with this iPhone that hasn't already been done by other manufacturers.
As for the parody ad, it is indeed a joke. Most of those features (video chat, panoramic camera, free OS updates,,,seriously?) are on every other big smartphone out there, so obviously this is a pathetic attempt to put down the superior GSIII. If this is an idea of what the average intelligence of iPhone users is, I really do pity the future...

What design? That squared brick? With a big physical home button at the bottom of the screen?
The phones are coming without any physical buttons and edge to edge screen.
For me Nokia lumia was great design.
Even S2 nice slim phone with big screen and minimum of a bezel.
But never iPhone.

Of course you value very much free upgrades of your ios when you are used to pay for everything. Adaptor, new cables, accessories....
When I bought phone (not iPhone) all the accessories and adaptors came with a box. So for me free updates are something I don't even think about.

Personally i don't like anything that restricts my freedom and forces me to do certain things a particular way (how to hold a phone/tab for example, forces me to pay huge preimium between 16/32/64 GB models and doesn't allow me a sdcard, forces me to put my data hostage over cloud for some corporation to charge ransome to keep the data active or i lose it in case i don;t pay the recurring ransom ... and so on )

Not sure why they chose aluminium, probably to look like a Mac Book. Probably the big reason why the iPhone 5 still does not have NFC.Metal and NFC do not mix.
