Face it, the American court is so corrupt even if Samsung presented all 3/3 of the LTE patents they'd still be in favor of Apple.

Let's face it if Samsung released at illuminous yellow pyramid shaped phone with a holographic display and triangular speaker grill and it sold 20-30 million units Apple would still try find some aspect in the device that they could slap copy cat label to and try sue. For apple its not about the products design that it feels threatened its about how well it sells and how much it threatens apples market share while also showing up apples stagnant device progressions. Ultimately knowing the bizarreness of the US courts they would still find in favour of Apple against such pyramid shaped device lol!!!

We look out for our own. This isn't necessarily a bad thing.

:X

But with Apple, it is. It's slowing down the entire industry.

By the way, if for whatever reason, Google and Samsung sue each other, the courts would defend our so beloved Android provider Google, same as they did with Apple.

That was precisely my feelings few months ago, but at least MS has cleaned up its old monopoly image and actually negotiate cross-licencing with other companies with reasonable terms. Apple just wants everything their way. Apple is the new Microsoft.

My thing is....why do they see it as them all of a sudden partnering with MS? They already made WP phones so ...I dont get it.

Do Samsung think for a second that going in more with WP will push Nokia to the back burner? It wont matter with Nokia entrenched as MS's pet project. Samsung will be just another OEM, nothing more.

Apple is in no position to really be complaining about Samsung copying there products as Apple has done the same thing. The ONLY reason why Apple took Samsung to court was not to protect IP but to hurt them financially seeing as there the ONLY one really making any money. I mean come on Apple is now valued as the richest company in the world, has the highest gross margin and keeps breaking records for sales. To me Apple is just being straight up greedy asking for $2 billion in damages when there worth over $600 billion!

Im just curious if Samsung was able to prove they didn't copy Apple and had won in court would you tell Apple to accept the decision????? Don't bother answering because im willing to bet you would say NO.

Apple is like the schoolyard bully. In order to beat him, the rest of the smaller guys have to unit and gang up on him.
They better make sure that he doesn't get back up. Kill Apple.

I want to know how a Network such as 4G LTE can warrant Samsung from suing anyone? Forget this whole issue with Apple Vs samsung. I want to know how this is even possible.... I can only imagine the chipset as being the issue, but that cannot be it, can it?

Samsung owns 4G LTE? Not sure how this will turn out. Do not be surprised if the original verdict is overturned and then APPLE appeals that verdict - process could go on for years and patent lawyers everywhere will rejoice.

On what grounds does Samsung have to sue Apple if they make an LTE iPhone? I don't think that Samsung holds the patent for LTE radios.

It really sounds like it was a statement made out of anger, if Apple does make a LTE iPhone, I hope that Samsung has a good reason.

apple already uses lte on the new ipad so.......i don't think its possible to sue apple, they have all the necessary patents
and if samsung strikes deal with MS, then apple will not try to fight against them because MS pays apple for using Apple patents and these two companies may not hate each other anymore
analysts were right, if apple and samsung fight against each other, then the winner would be MS..........android would still have the highest marketshare but MS will definitely eat up a small part of that huge android marketshare.....

>Samsung stops the sale three days after releases
>Product ban

If this were to actually be true, Apple is f**ked for a year haha.

If copying apple is what made samsung the worlds number one mobile phone producer and it only cost them 1 billion. I am sure they would do it agian in a heart beat.

I agree running to microsoft for help against apple is like getting help from a bully to beat a bully. Google can only do so much for Samsung - perhaps Google should have hired the lawyers for the Samsung.

Actually once Google asked Samsung to stop doing same like Apple. So they might have dis-agreed on it.

I love how you think things like a rectangle with a grid of icons is ok to sue for a ban over but lawsuits on patents on actual technology that someone is using without licensing is bullying.

Not surprising you dont mind Apple using 3g patents without paying for years and millions of devices.

It clearly shows that no matter Apple does, its fine by you.
