Samsung wants to convince you the Tab 2 (7.0) is better than Kindle Fire, Nook Tablet

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) not only has one of the most confusing names for a tablet, but it’s also packing quite a punch for its extremely affordable $249 price tag…

If you don't have the cash for this one, then you're going to have trouble getting a quad-core tablet which is easily 2x as much money.

Being $50 more isn't the sole reason for the Tab 2 7.0 being better than the Fire or Nook. Native ICS with full Google Play (Android Market), plus being able to download Amazon Market makes it the solid leader. Having a camera, BT, and a mic just adds to the already superior tablet. You get one heck of an upgrade in features (and not having to root in order to get Android Market) for only a $50 increase.

yes its worth the extra $50

really it doubles the ram, adds cameras, mics, and blutooth.. oh and ICS and the real android market and google apps.

You can still access every feature the kindle has through downloading the kindle books app as well as the amazon market.

so if your looking for a light use tablet for reading, media, and more, the samsung is the much better buy. If your really just looking for reading more than anything, then there is no need to spend the extra money.

I fully agree with remixfa, the galaxy tab 2 7.0 is a much more full featured android tablet than the kindle or nook especially considering the fact that it has ICS and double the RAM, and a UI familiar to the usual android user

How about the battery life? Is it better than the other two?
From what I read, Galaxy Tab 2 is, yes, affordable ($240).

I think this probably the best deal you can get on a nice and fully capable Android OS tablet but I am looking for a tablet to widen the gap a little more between my phone's screen size since I enjoy watching a lot of films on the go. The Asus Transformer TF300T achieves that gap.

I'm convinced ... on paper its better. Bluetooth, cameras, GPS are all nice additions.

From a usability perspective though ... I am not sure if I am convinced. If I just want to surf, check email, use the odd app ... I may be more inclined to save my money.
