Samsung unveils SGH-P900 T-DMB handset for Europe

Samsung has announced the Europe's first T-DMB (Terrestrial Digital Media Broadcasting) enabled mobile phone - SGH-P900. The clamshell-designed device has a rotating top half, which offers users a landscape view. It also sports an electronic program guide (EPG) and a recording function. The main features of the tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) phone, are:

  • QVGA 262k color TFT display
  • Bluetooth
  • 2 mega pixels camera with video capture
  • GPRS/EDGE high-speed data
  • Video Streaming
  • MP3/ AAC / AAC+ player
  • TV-output
  • 128MB user memory
  • microSD memory expansion slot
  • USB port

The Samsung SGH-P900 will be demonstrated at 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona this month.
