I know. I am impressed Samsung released it with Jellybean, not ICS. Great phone with huge screen, redesigned stylus, latest Android on board, best specs on market, can't really complain.

Aside from the lawsuits, it is has been a fabulous year for Sammy. Wish them luck.

I understand Note 2 got faster processor I'm just fine with my Note I do not need to Upgrade Note 2 not that much better from Note. The Note 1 has better pixels 1280x800 as for note 2 it's only 1280x720 something like that.

I wait for Tegra 4 or 5 to come out.....

For us Note users, the Note 3 will be our upgrade. At least that's what I'm going to do. I will skip 2 and wait for 3. I'm also disappointed because There's no Note 2 with WP8...

It technically has a lower pixel count, but it uses the RGB matrix instead of Pentile, so it should actually look clearer than the Note 1's screen despite the lower pixel count. And then there's Jelly Bean, Touchwiz UX, OC quad Exynos (the best out right now), 2 GB RAM which make it almost guaranteed 2 years worth of updates, and the advanced S-Pen abilities... I'd say it's a pretty decent upgrade.

Great phablet overall. Glad they went with super amoled plus. But would like 2 have seen it have at least the same resolution as Note 1. Samsungs excuse for using pentile instead of samoled plus, in the sg3 seems to be bs now. Also, hoped for something better than Mali 400, as far as the graphics.

why does every other site say that this phone uses the Pentile matrix but phonearena claims otherwise?

http://www.phonearena.com/news/No-more-PenTile-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-II-specs-review_id33845

"While we were waiting with bated breath for Samsung to announce an HD Plus screen, meaning a regular RGB matrix, it seems to have quietly gotten rid of the typical PenTile arrangement with the Note II, yet employed something different than standard RGB stripes."

It's not Pentile, but it's different from standard RGB.

Oh wow... the Note II looks really nice. The design aspect is taken from the SIII, but for some reason I find this way better looking than SIII.
