ICS is enough with these specs, and it'll be updated soon like Asus tf prime got ICS. But still 1280x800 pixels? So disappointed.

I was just about to say that.
1080 would be nice, as well as JB.
If and only if it is cheaper than the iPad will it have a possibility of selling. Tablet app support is terrible on Google Play. I'd say about 10% of the apps have tablet support.

Yes, wanted a FHD display.

It's because of the SoC. Exynos 4412 doesn't support FHD. It supports max WXGA display.

They don't make their chips support LTE, now not even FHD displays. What's wrong with Samsung?

Make sure that it has 3G Voice and Video call, SMS and MMS capability and you have my money.

Sure, but not with $500 price tag.

Again with no 1080p screen? Come on sammy :'(. Does this mean Note 2 willl be delayed?

5. MalakiMills posted on 25 Jul 2012, 07:16 2

Same sentiment as everyone else. Bump that screen up to a 1900x1200 and I would love it. Without that though it's still a pretty decent tablet, price depending of course.

I am just hanging out for the Note 2 @ this stage. The execs @ Samsung should remember the Asus T700 transformer Infinity is due out in August in Australia and the screen resolution on that will up there with iPad 3.

I hope Note 2 will have quad-core Krait Pro.

Note is not Galaxy Tab 2 which will have higher screen resolution.

11. aayupanday posted on 25 Jul 2012, 08:37 1

No Exynos 5250 processor
No Mali 604 GPU
No 1920X1200p resolution
Then Samsung better price it below $350

12. pkiran1996 posted on 25 Jul 2012, 09:13 1

Disappointed with the screen resolution. Nexus 7 has 1280x800 on 7 inches. On a 10.1 inch screen it's too pixelated. They did the same with the Galaxy Tab 7.0 (plus / 2) by putting a 1024x600 resolution on that.

13. superguy posted on 25 Jul 2012, 09:20 1

I'd consider a 7" tablet with that resolution, but these days a 10" tablet better be 1080p.

I'd like to see a 7-7.7" version of this.

Im on board with a 1080p display.. Either way, I will be upgrading my SGS10.1 soon.. The guys at Sammy better make it snappy... I may just start looking at the comp.. LOL

If these are in fact the correct specs, this tablet has already failed before launch. I will re-iterate what someone said above.
No Exynos 5250 processor
No Mali 604 GPU
No 1920X1200p resolution
= FAIL

Few reasons this tablet is not worth it

1. No 1920x1200 screen, I'd be like releasing a flag-ship galaxy phone with a 480p screen at this point.

2. No Exynos 5250, tablets should be utilizing CPUs MADE FOR TABLETS...

3. 16GB of storage.. Transformer Infinity ships with 32GB with better screen and equally capable processor, at the same price-point.

4. I know many people don't use tablet cameras, but the iPad 3's camera is way better than this one.

500$?... I don't think so...

18. ChafedBanana posted on 25 Jul 2012, 18:41 1

No full HD and no Jelly Bean which means the screen should look fuzzy and the animations laggy. Way to go Samsung.
