"In its uprising against Android's market domination."
How about trying to battle back to the top after the Android Alliance led its own uprising against Apple's Orwellian domination?

AppleSoc does not approve of your comment. You are a thought criminal, and must thus be vaporized, in the name of SJ.
Remember than before Apple, there were no phones, no happiness, no joy, no life, no internet, no technology, children died by the thousands every day, and people were forced to use telegraph code for communication.
Yes - I'm reading 1984, and the more I begin to read it, the more Apple's 1984 ad seems laughable and extremely ironic compared to the present situation.

Why do you think I'm beginning a weekly Internet serial casting Apple as an evil totalitarian empire taking over planets with a massive army of mind controlled slaves?

Way ahead of you

Okay, that was f**king hilarious. :D
Maybe we should hold a contest to see who can come up with the most awesome title crawl related to the subject of Apple vs. everyone? :D

I agree - let the CellWars roll! : )
Episode II coming after iPhone 5 launch.

This will not overturn the ruling because apple is afraid of the high level these tablets, how dare a company like samsung insult apple buy releasing a better product than theirs, apple are overlords and their draconian dominance should not be allowed to be competed against.
This product clearly copied apples ipad in every was because it has a google honeycomb UI radically different from apples ios,has better cameras which must be copying apple and the tablet is black in colour. If apples product is black than no other product can be. Also this product has higher tech, cheaper,a better screen, memory and functionality and this is a clear insult to apples control of the islave masses

you guys make me laugh. I remeber when the Xoom ( of al tablets) yuo guys were al over the tablet.. that it was superior than the ipad2. in every way... and it only took 3 months for it to be a bust. now history repeats itself with the ipad wannabe .. you guys are soo desperate for a product to come and detrone de king of the tablet world... and is cool.,. I love moto but the Xoom is overpriced,,, and under achieved.. and Moto dropped the ball on that.. they rushed it... now the Galaxy ipad..let.... which is a good product .. based ont he original...ipad2... why buy copy when you can get the original...
8. Sniggly (Posts: 6193; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
The Xoom, with 32GB of memory, is 500 dollars. That is 100 dollars less than the 32GB iPad 2 and the same price as the 16GB model. And its SD card now works. And all the 3G models will get their 4G radios next month.
The Xoom was always a better product than the iPad 2. It just didn't sell well. What was that about the Xoom being overpriced again?
9. gallitoking (Posts: 4571; Member since: 17 May 2011)
well now is decent priced because it didnt sell, but when it first came out. it was...then nobody bought it.. they lowered the price....they also said will be 4g upgradable and barely a few weeks ago started to... it was a disater that a Xoom 2 may never see the light.. I rather buy the Transformer from Asus than the Xoom...
10. Sniggly (Posts: 6193; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
No, now it's awesomely priced. Beforehand it was average priced for what it offered. It just lacked a cheaper option for less memory.
11. gallitoking (Posts: 4571; Member since: 17 May 2011)
but still is a better option than the Xoom.. you focused too much on specs alone.. the Xoom as wonderful as it may have been.. nobody bought it... and thats how you define the sucess of a product... did it sell?.. plain and simple
12. Sniggly (Posts: 6193; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
The people who have bought it have seemed to love it so far. Sometimes a great product can not sell well if it's not marketed properly. The XOOM had s**tty marketing, except for its superbowl commercial. By comparison, the iPad got total public saturation every f**king where.
13. gallitoking (Posts: 4571; Member since: 17 May 2011)
exactly... of course they loved it.. is a tablet... but it didnt meet expectations.. because it was rushed to compete around the ipad2.. when you rush a product.. you run the risk of failing.. whether was Moto or verizon . me as a consumer.. dont care.. Apple shoved the ipad2 down my throat. and I bought it.. perfect example that marketing.. works... again is that simple.. forget specs.. forget even the color... advertise it and it wil sell..
15. Sniggly (Posts: 6193; Member since: 05 Dec 2009)
Yes, I know that marketing works. That's my entire point regarding why the Xoom failed to sell and the iPad 2 did.
I simply try not to fall victim to marketing hype.
16. PeterIfromsweden (Posts: 1230; Member since: 03 Aug 2011)
Just dropped by to let you know, you've got email from me now : )
By the way, Apple are experts at hyping and marketing it seems. thats how they got all their iSheep.
But i tried the xoom at the shops yesterday, and it lagged terribly. Wonder why ?
17. gallitoking (Posts: 4571; Member since: 17 May 2011)
so to end this.. the Xoom now is not overpriced. but it did under achieve as it didnt sell as much as expected... at least I got 1 out fo the 2 .. but as we both love Moto. they will make it up on the next Motorola tablet.. bigger than the copycat Galaxy ipad..blet..

Apple is just trying to save face where it can. Given the overwhelmingly positive reception of the Galaxy S2 overseas, I can see why Apple is scared/worried about the GalTab 10.1 receiving the same consumer response in the same market.
Think about it. Galaxy S II comes out overseas, does incredibly well in a short period of time. Apple jumps to prevent Galaxy S II sales in the States.
On the flipside of things, in the states the Tab has been out for a short amount of time, lukewarm(? [havn't kept up on sales]) reception, also noting the huge increase in Android tablet sales as a whole, so Apple tries to prevent the sale of the Tab in the same market where Samsungs other, high-end mobile products are well received.
Definitely sounds to me like Apple is worried.
19. gallitoking (Posts: 4571; Member since: 17 May 2011)
dashak . have you ever looked in a mirror... lets say you are good at reading people's mind.. and you are really good at it.. have some competition but no one as good as you. but Doc Brown..makes a clone of you.. and your clone open the same business. and takes away your customers because he gives charges less than you... how wlil that make you feel?.. will you be open to comperte with your self..?.. thats how Apple feels as Shamsung copys Apples every move...
ps. maybe the story was very understandable but u get my point...right?
21. darth8ball (Posts: 519; Member since: 02 Aug 2011)
but that is the basis of a Capitolistic society, we need that competition to keep companies competing to bring their products to the market cheaper, or better than the competition. Otherwise you could have a company like Wonder bread shutting out all other bakeries and you would pay $100 for a loaf of bread. That is why there are anti-monopoly laws, and antitrust laws in place.
22. darth8ball (Posts: 519; Member since: 02 Aug 2011)
gallitoking. Let's say you wanted to start a company that makes, oh... baseball gloves. How many differences could you possibly put into your design and still make it work for someone to wear with a human hand which are all pretty much the same. Do you think it would be right for Rawlings to say you couldn't sell your gloves because they look too much like a Rawlings glove. After all the money you spend on R&D and Marketing, you should go broke.
24. gallitoking (Posts: 4571; Member since: 17 May 2011)
yes I would go broke... but it would be my fault for not patented my design.. why do you think Mr crabs... keeps the secret ingredient of the krabby pattie.. well hidden. so it wouldnt be another product like.. lets hope SpongeBob doesnt steal the ingredient and open another Krusty krabs.. that wil be unathetical from mr. squarepants
29. darth8ball (Posts: 519; Member since: 02 Aug 2011)
Really Spongebob reference. LMFAO.
If you hold any candybar form, all touch screen phone in your hand, your fingers are in the same location no matter whether or not it is an iPhone, motorola , HTC whatever. That in mind limits the amount of differences the design of a functional comfortable phone allows for.

I own a XOOM and while a little disappointed with the amount of time it has taken for the 4G upgrade to come out (still not yet) overall it is a solid tablet. Having a different OS as the Android phones there has been some delays in Apps coming out for the Honeycomb after they are built for Froyo and Ginger, but better wait for perfection then get crappy apps

or you can get an iPad that's ready for market and not half baked
31. remixfa (Posts: 13882; Member since: 19 Dec 2008)
or you could get any other android tablet and have actual features other than a large ipod.
