Any proof that this photo is from Samsung supplier's factory? Because it may be any random foto from WWW.

why do you think the source is posted in the article? feel free to check this out: chinalaborwatch.org/pro/proshow-175.html
and when its apple you can accept it even when there is no source :/

"why do you think the source is posted in the article?"
Yes, I already saw that. These photos are taken by "China Labor Watch" as a proof but there is one problem because these photos doesn't provide any information that these kids are from Samsung supplier's factory. Anyway I don't say that "China Labor Watch" tell lies! I just say that these photos doesn't provide any proves that these kids are from Samsung supplier's factory because in these photos I can see just a few random kids sitting in the street.
"and when its apple you can accept it even when there is no source :/"
Any proof for such proposition?
You see, I don't care it is Samsung, Apple, HTC or Nokia because in this case my point was that internet is full of various kind of propaganda and you always have to analyze all incoming information and decide it is truth or just untrusted information. In this case I tend to believe in "China Labor Watch" words but again these photos doesn't say nothing!

As much power the Chinese government has, it really should have its own fully-functional OSHA by now, if only to stop bad press about itself and its citizens. Yes, the OEMs should require the factories to hold a certain standard, but the factories should be willing to do that on their own, not be forced by the OEMs and/or government.

At least they are taking measures to stop these and have given them a deadline, they themselves did these checks. Human rights groups had to check on Foxconn and Apple wasn't even a bit concerned.
25. Droiddoes posted on 26 Nov 2012, 14:18 6 3
Difference is Samsung is trying to do something about it, whereas apple couldn't give two sh*ts about labor conditions in their plants.
6. medicci37 posted on 26 Nov 2012, 12:44 2 0
Apple, Samsung, & many other companies, disregard human rights in favor of higher profits. U.S. was doing much better (financially & morally) before all these bs. one way trade agreements with China. Just makes it easier for wealthy multinationals 2 exploit people... & Samsungs pledge 2 stop breaking the law in 2 years ? Since when is complying with the law optional ? This is what happens when government allows big business to police themselves.
7. Quezdagreat posted on 26 Nov 2012, 12:45 1 5
go ahead fandriods sweep this under the rug like everything else.
they get mad when its apple but they have nothing to say when it happens with their glorious and angelic samsung
34. joey_sfb posted on 26 Nov 2012, 17:56 1 2
Samsung made a lot of products from china. Phone is just one item. Apple fans are too emotional to be logical.
You have the freedom to choose apple products but can you read the words for the meaning without thinking about apple vs android.

I've got a solution to all of this: Let's revitalize the jobs here in the US and manufacture these parts here and not have to import them. I'm sure there are plenty of Americans that would love to have these jobs at reasonable incomes. Companies can still make profits, and help our country's economy in the process. I know this is oversimplifying the issue, but that is the basis of a great way to solve this problem for ALL this junk.
24. androiddownsouth posted on 26 Nov 2012, 14:11 3 0
And just what does Apple being an American company have to do with my post? Look at my avatar and username. I'm not exactly an Apple promoter or apologist.
All of these companies use Chinese labor to some degree, so ALL are guilty of at the least not paying the attention they should to their suppliers. Apple is one of the main violators sure, but they ALL do it to some degree.
There is plenty of documented evidence of China having a terrible human rights record when it comes to labor. I'm not saying things are perfect in the US, but I can't remember the last time I saw a story on child labor here.
Child labor is an awful thing, no matter who or where. I know plenty of adults here in the states that would love to have any decent job, but very little is still made in the USA these days.
26. PhoneArenaUser posted on 26 Nov 2012, 14:22 1 0
"And just what does Apple being an American company have to do with my post?"
In your comment #13 you say:
"Let's revitalize the jobs here in the US and manufacture these parts here..."
"I'm sure there are plenty of Americans that would love to have these jobs at reasonable incomes."
And that's why I have mentioned Apple because Apple is an American company and that's why it should be even more matter for Apple and America's people! But seems that Apple don't care about that...
Apple parts are manufactured in Asia.
Also I agree with what you have said in your comment #24.
27. PhoneArenaUser posted on 26 Nov 2012, 14:28 2 0
There is two main problems:
1. Companies are greedy.
2. Americans won't work for such low pay as Asians would work.
29. androiddownsouth posted on 26 Nov 2012, 14:59 0 0
Both of those are things that I don't think anyone can argue against lol. That said, I am confident that companies can still manufacture goods in the US and make a profit. Sure the $$$ won't be as much, but the goodwill they would generate here could go a long way to attracting more customers. It might could even come very close to evening out. I know I would be more likely to buy a product if I felt it was quality AND manufactured right here at home.
23. Twisted247 posted on 26 Nov 2012, 13:31 3 0
This is pretty sad that Samsung a Korean company is taking action before Apple an American company. For Apple being one of the giants of the mobile world and it being an American based company saddens me that they haven't taken the same steps already.
This has nothing to do with the apple/Android war, this is simply about being an American and although I do not purchase their products I would still hope they would conduct themselves in a manner which stands good for the country as a whole.
Good job to Samsung for doing something about it, most companies would sweep it under the rug and try and blackball the company or outfit who brought the issue to light.
36. InspectorGadget80 posted on 26 Nov 2012, 19:24 0 0
That's a smart move by Samsung. China is so corrupt using children to make all products MADE IN CHINA. Samsung products should be made in KOREA
37. Dragonov posted on 26 Nov 2012, 19:36 0 0
Why must apple or android be brought up all the time in these kinds of articles? The first comment by phonearenauser was about him not believing the credibility of the photo with the children in it. Even if it says its of children working in a sumsung factory, the article itself says that Sammy hasn't found any children working in the factory's yet. If you feel the need to defend the company you like (apple) (android) then please don't bring it up, like kalandershihab did in his response post, or antagonise the flame war even more. Both a android and apple users need to stop this, we're acting like apple and Sammy in the patent wars. And as consumers we SHOULD be much more mature about it.

China is so overly populated, bcoz of this a lot of people don't have jobs they are so desperate to work even for less money. That's why piracy, child labor and just about anything for a dime.
Companies in the US and Europe closed their production/ manufacturing warehouses to move it to china with locals losing jobs.
I wish China's government wud play fair and be more strict when it comes to labor pays and standards.
