SAMSUNG CAPTIVATE - awesome phone - but the i9000 ROM is better with more extras....faster UI, great voice command central app, app for having VM and emails read back to you. 4 bars shown instead of 5...lol. Q score on the i9000 was higher than the AT&T ROM. Either way, the video and pic quality is outstanding on the phone...

heya.. networkdood. ur gonna have some phone troubles. I been checkin XDA about the i9000 (euro galaxyS rom) that came out. Its been proven to be a bricker if you try to move to any other roms. Cyganomod has a warning up about it, and its all over XDA now not to flash to it, because while it seems to work well, if u try to ever update/replace the rom, its got a very very high chance of bricking your phone. Be careful. dont want anyone to end up with a $500 warranty free brick.

Retina display. Seen it. Sure it has a greater resolution no doubt, but it has no contrast.it pales in comparison to super amoled. I have friends with iphone 4s. Super amoled makes the retina display look like e-ink..lol and aren't you the same norton that tries to convince people that vzw is a mexican company..lol

Yes he is and yes it does. SAMOLED trumps the Retina display on the ip4. Saw a T Mobile Vibrant yesterday in person and WOW what a difference. I was sold on the Droid X but now really contemplating waiting on the Fascinate. Although I wish it had an 8mp camera, the LED flash on the VZW version should improve picture quality. We'll see soon.

MPX doesnt really make that much of a difference as much as software and lens quality, whateverman. I can tell you from first hand experience that while i do miss the flash on certain close lowlight pix (like bar pix of friends for example), it has a lowlight mode that more than beats flash in many situations. It also takes very clear pix, so no worries.
