0. phoneArena 07 Apr 2013, 01:04 posted on

If you live in London, you are lucky to be able to purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 from the Samsung Experience Store at the Westfield Stratford City shopping center in London for a price of £339 ($520 USD); this is a stylus supported slate like the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and comes with £60 ($92 USD) of freebies and 50GB of free DropBox storage for two years...

Better buy it at Samsung store, because I didn't use eBay before. Plus, Note 8.0 isn't available at eBay yet.

Not yet but I'm pretty sure it'll be available on ebay before many Samsung stores over the world.
If you really can't wait, give it a try.

People say that the iPad mini is overpriced. What would you call this then?

For the price of the note 8.0 I think is really cheap, this tablet doesn't compare with the mini in feature.

iPad mini is no where near the Note 8.0 in term of features.
You can't do half of what you can do on the Note 8.0, with the iPad mini(even the ipad 4 doesn't come close).

Please tell what the note 8.0 can do that the mini can't?
Not that i am trying to bash on the note.

Really?! Damn! I would've never thought that such tech illeterate still exist on PA..
Well, customization, background multitasking, real-time multitasking(multiwindow), bluetooth file transfer, side-loading apps, setting 3rd party apps as default apps, etc.. The list is too long!

I also get those with the cheaper Nexus 7 at half the price. A Jailbroken iPad mini can also do all of those. What's your point? At $520, you don't think this tablet is overpriced?

Compare to other stylus device, this is much more cheaper...

Dont worry. The tablet costs $399 USD. It may be more exspensive than the ipad mini, but that is understandable since it has way more features. Besides, I think its meant to go up againts the ipad mini 2 which will probably be around the same price.
