i despise the ICS 4.0.4 update to my at&t galaxy s2 model I777. Its glitchy and causes freezing and automatic powering off. Ongoing issue. AT&T says samsung as of 1/29/13 plans on issuing an update to correct issue, Samsung says nothing in the works. I just got off of the phone with Samsung again and finally I asked them when Jelly Bean would be released for this device and if the "fix" would be included in the update. The response was that samsung has no plans according to their systems to update the I777 to Jelly Bean. I'm devastated. I'm stuck with a phone that is now crazy and about 7 months old. Samsung says I can send my device in so they can take a look at it, which means I can be without a phone for about 2 weeks minimum or contact AT&T. AT&T states I can buy a new phone outright, do a warranty exchange to the same device (which could also have the same issues) or contact Samsung. Getting very tired of going around in circles.
