This screen technology is already 10 years old - OLED, COLED (Clear OLED) and FOLED (Flexible OLED). A Nokia 2110 was used to demo the OLED whereas a wired FOLED screen flexed between 2 fingers was shown running a movie Calamity Jane. The COLED was shown as HUD on car windshields. The question is why only now?

maybe becuz nokia didnt have the resourses too expand their technology.
I always imagind a phone/ tablet. ofcourse, I didnt know the name" tablet". but I remmeber when I saw a nokia E series, you know, the mini laptop shape, I thought, If display screens can be curved, they can produce a phone, in the size of nokia 1100, that a secendery screen pops out of it...
I would defenetli buy somthing like that.

this would be great on a tablet but probable flimsy if it was touch screen, at least with multitouch, I personally have a vibrant which is a galaxy s phone which has a amoled and it looks great, used to have a hd2 and it beats it all the way- camera sucks though. Any ways it would be great if samsung made a bigger galaxy tab with an amoled discplay that curved with like the shape of your hand or something and was super thin. I guess maybe it would look cool in design but not so great in function idk...
