A qHD screen for a 5.8 inch screen? Sammy, I'm a little bit disappointed :(

Ends up being a ppi of 190. Taking into account that it's probably pentile, this has got to be the worst screen ever.

samsung .. get the f*** outta here .. i mean seriously .. i love your products .. had a galaxy note .. galaxy SIII .. going own the Note 10.1 .. but media players ... ipod is the s**t ... you wanna know why? causes its slim .. slick & it has f****** 64 GB STORAGE !

who on earth would buy a semi tablet to use as a media player !!! ... oh and it has some memory which is expandables !? screw that !!
if you wanna compete ipod .. you better bring some of your crafty Galaxy S Series design to the game .. otherwise .. its a bull**** ploy what you are doing with this

I agree that the ipod touch is pleasantly thin (though that's about the only good thing I can think of about it), and other media player manufacturers are doing themselves a disservice offering something similar. As for the Player having a large screen, I'm all for it, as a Note is arguably too large for phone calls, but great for media consumption, internet browsing, and messaging. The camear and resolution are a joke, though. Give me a Note-class screen in a body that is about a third thinner and without the cell phone parts, give it stock Jelly Bean, and you might have a new customer.

I have a Galaxy 5.0 and it's probably the most used tablet I have. I use it all the time and my kids love it too.

I own 7" tablets and they're still too big to take everywhere. The iPod is nice but it's way too small to enjoy videos, especially letterboxed 16x9 in a 3.5" screen. The Galaxy 5.0 is great for watching videos and listening to music and playing games.

why so huge screen with a low resolution and a low CPU and a low camera? -.-

just qHD resolution for an almost 6 inches device? not even 720 p.. samsung might market this device as a mini tablet

Samsung made it cheaper and affordable for everyone with lower specs. meant lower price.
