Like a proud parent taking a new child to the department store for the first official baby portrait, Samsung had pictures of the Instinct S30 (also known as the Instinct Mini by those who love to use nicknames) taken by its Korean press service. No details were passed along, but it looks like the device sat very nicely for the pictures with not even one binky in sight. With everyone focused on Sprint's exclusivity with the Palm Pre for the balance of the year, the handset could become a pleasant surprise for the carrier. This is a device that we have seen in various spy shots and it is great to see it in a nice, clear official shot that confirms the mimi-me version of the hugely successful device is on the way. We guess it will be showcased at the CTIA, so expect our hands-on from there.

I love the rounded corners, it looks, dare I say it, cute. As long as the price is cheaper, I might actually make the jump to Sprint. Well, that would be the case if the LG Xenon on AT&T wasn't so cheap. LOL

I'm sure its going to be cheap. They've got another Instinct coming out this year that they actually refer to as the 2nd gen Instinct that features better specs and is higher end. That one might cost some. I'll be amazed if this is over $99.

I don't understand the carrier jumping. I would never give up great service for a magical looking phone. VZW FTW!!
