Ahh, ok, so now I read it differently - what it is saying is that phones running Android OS 2.1-2.3 must receive the update....ah well, my Captivate is safe from the clutches of APPLE....lol

Like I said, Samsung took advantage of its biggest client and copied, and thanks to Apple innovated device the iphone, Samsung is now Android biggest representative, because they followed the Apple way...

I think it's good, not that they will have to spend a lot of time and money updating, but I like how they will be updating the devices with 2.1 and 2.2 because froyo and the one before it is almost obsolete, and incompatible with just about everything.
