Sure, Apperance matters but it shouldn't matter over whats inside the phone because one gets bored of apperance in a while but new and innovative tech such as Octa's and new Pholed's power saving won't be.

"Best of sony in a smartphone" doesn't mean "Best of the Smartphone" !

I never said Xperia Z is not a good phone. I only pointed out the TFT screen to point out no phone is perfect !

Lastly, I dont think you are even reading by comments before posting a reply. All I am saying is why comment on a phone when its even not released yet ?

I have a point, you must admit that.
It's only fair if I'll say that the Samsung Galaxy S series is a great smartphone line. It's just that I hate Samsung bcos it is overrated. And yes you're right, no phone is perfect.. even the Galaxy S series has a lot of flaws and imperfections! :)

Appearance is the last concern with a smartphone. Seriously, you're like my wife. I can't let her buy a car, because her entire decision will be based on color and body design. She won't look into reliability, fuel efficiency, warranty, repair cost, nothing. Just how "cute" it is.

Or, how she buys things like purses. She spends $400 on a Coach purse, which is no better built or more functional than any $50 purse, but because its got the Coach logo, and other women can tell right away its a Coach.

Can your SXZ Can resist Drop test? Unless you put jellycase on ur SXZ, Even your phone made of plastic, aluminum or polycarbonate if you add jellycase that will be nothing and When your Smartphone is made of Aluminum i think it will be more hot than plastic or Poly.

I think Samsung will concentrate on the 'inside' rather than the outside (except for Display).
I'm pretty pessimistic Samsung will update the S4 looks other than plastic used in S3 or Note II. I'm no fan of those phones looks but apparently many people are loving it. Perhaps one of the reason is of the AMOLED screen. Sure it look unreal and overly saturated but the AMOLED does look beautiful and spoil the eyes.

For me, Samsung's best phone in terms of look are SGSII and Galaxy Nexus.
If the wireless charging ability is confirmed the S4 will definitely going to look like the S3/Note2.

I am not obsessed with phones. I get bored with one company so i decided to keep switching phones so XZ after 6 months when prices on ebay falls to $550 range because Sony phones lose prices faster than samsung or htc and i see 550 for XZ in 6 months time ... just like TX which sells for $500 now on ebay india :)
