Samsung is preparing thin bar GSM phone - the T509

The FCC documents reveal information on still unannounced GSM phone from Samsung. The SGH-T509 has a bar form factor and internal antenna. It is thin and sports built-in camera. It is not certain what frequency bands the handset supports as a FCC image shows a label “tri-band”, whereas the FCC pages reveal that it supports quad bands, making it capable of operating in both Europe and the US. High-speed data through EDGE is supported, in addition to the Bluetooth, for local connection. There is no official information on the carrier, but the model number (T509) hints that it probably will be available through T-Mobile USA, as they offer the phones, whose model names end with 9 (T309, T809, T609, T709 ...)
