Samsung intros a new Galaxy Folder Android clamshell (in Korea)
Just one day after LG introduced a brand new Android-based clamshell (called LG Gentle), Samsung now announced a new Android flip phone of its own. Called Samsung Galaxy Folder, the device is the successor to the Galaxy Folder from 2013 (but, as you can see, its name remained unchanged).

The new Galaxy Folder offers an easy to use keypad, in addition to a 3.8-inch internal touchscreen display of unknown pixel resolution. The handset runs an unspecified version of Android (seems to be Lollipop), and has two color versions: white, and dark blue. LTE, Wi-Fi and GPS are unsurprisingly on board, in addition to an 8 MP rear camera, a 2 MP front-facing camera, 8 GB of expandable storage space, and a 1800 mAh battery.

The new Samsung Galaxy Folder will be available to buy next month (August) in South Korea for prices starting at around $250 (unlocked). Most probably, the handset will not be released in other markets.
