Samsung expects to sell over 10 mln units of the Star S5230 this year
China Times informs that the Taiwanese division of Samsung expects to sell over 10 mln units of the affordable, touch sensitive screen Star S5230 by the end of this year. Since the beginning of 2009, the monthly average volumes have reached 1 mln handsets, so the target doesn´t seem unrealistic indeed. Still, it will be interesting to know how the figure stacks up against the sales of the S5230 arch-rival, the LG Cookie KP500. Back in April sources from LG announced that their affordable device had been sold in more than 2 mln units and the figure was expected to swell to as many as 10 mln. What do you think sells better? The Samsung Star S5230 or LG Cookie KP500? Share your opinion in the comments section below.
