Samsung does it again, making fun of those waiting on line for the Apple iPhone 5

Samsung has released a new television ad that not only makes fun of the Apple iPhone 5 and its features, but also hints that the Apple iPhone 5 is the phone for your parents; the ad shows that many of the iPhone's new features, such as a larger screen and LTE coverage, are nothing new for Samsung Galaxy S III users...

Gotta LOVE SAMSUNG for these ads AGAINST THE BIG EVIL FRUIT. I'm still rewatching the one when the guy says I LIKE TO BE CREATIVE lmao

Ha! I work in a call center and once this video started getting circulated in the center, it created an uproar! Lol. It was funny, even some Apple fans here agreed it was funny. But what was even funnier was they never mentioned Apple's name during the ad. While I have no preference, I like both devices (S3 and the 5) and is currently struggling with which I'm going to upgrade to. I've been back and forth with this decision a 1,000x's over, and have come to the conclusion that I'm just going to go back to a flip phone, jk. I'll probably go with Samsung since, I wont have to worry about only what 3 months of support from the manufacturer? So, Kudo's to Samsung for the great ad.

So Rudie, how many phones out there are made out of plastic? Just because IPhone have a metal ring on the side, it doesnt mean its not plastic. Most metal like are plastic base with metal sheet wrapped. The Iphone 4 are made out of plastic with glass and so called metal ring on the side So do your research before you speak of others.

The iPhone 4, 4s, and 5 are NOT plastic. That's just FUD.

Seems like a great way to capture dissatisfied iPhone owners.

Yes, except that there are a lot less of those than there are Samsung users, according to J.D. Power & Associates.

Considering how incremental the S III is, they really shouldn't be making fun of anyone. It has the cheapest build by far of any of the major phone manufacturers. Even their WP8 device is a carbon copy of the S III when people like HTC and Nokia aren't pulling any punches. Everything Samsung screams cheap. Specs and esoteric or gimmicky features can only go so far. The polish is never there. It always feels like a beta product.

"Gimmicky"? "Feels like a beta product"? Are you talking about Samsung or Siri?

Both phones weak now. Bring something else out.
Crappy iPhone more powerful than GS3. Pathetic.
and i hate Apple.

They even took a Jab at Windows Phones (in the guise of Bill Gates-lookalike).
Priceless. But still I might head to a Windows Phone for the 8X

Meanwhile Apple spends their time providing iOS 6 for all their phones going back 3 years, while the droid zombies spend their time wacking off to lame ads.
Hilarious. Lose again Samdung

iOS 6 is nothing to be proud of to be honest, but no surprise because apple fans will be impressed with anything apple shoves down your throat.

but what if I suppose I shove my new HTC DIX towards their throats, maybe they'd reconsider eating from the evil fruit..

they should sell the galaxy s3 for $2 like they did with s2 last year. it's way more effective than this. Lol

It's not very Christian of you to lie like that.
This time last year, the Galaxy S2 variants were all around 200 dollars.

At 20 million sold in three months (with the US not even included the first month), and it being the fastest selling/most preordered device ever, I'd say they are plenty effective at full retail.

"Fastest selling"? The iPhone 4s did ~30 million in the first quarter of availability. The iPhone 5 will do anywhere from 6-12 million in its first weekend. Did you mean the "fastest-selling non-Apple device"?
