Finally seeing a major reboot to the series, Samsung has confirmed that the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G will support tethering and mobile hotpot from the start. Moreover, it will ship with a 2GB microSD card which supplements...

Tethering would be awesome if it's free. Otherwise, it's just another means of carriers making more money on something that users have already paid.

If you want a 5mp camera, go talk to canon. Why do you need a 5mp camera on a "non-smartphone". if you want a 5mp camera on a phone, grow up lol. Get out of the sidekick era...Are you going to be editing pictures? I don't understand why people need 15+ megapixel cameras on cellphones....

This phone runs Android 2.2 OS. Your telling me this is not a smart phone??? WOW! And I'm asking for 5mp cam. Its Common on MOST* 2010-2011 Smartphones (Most Androids,Iphone4,Blackberries,all Wp7,Hp Palm 2...ect). I'm not asking for no 8mp or 12 mp OK, just one that is good enough but not overboard.

Right, I'm a douche...Just because a phone is running android 2.2 does NOT mean its a smartphone. Its also whats under the hood....processor, ram, multi-tasking things of that nature...this COULD be a smartphone don't get me wrong. But I'm basing my previous comments on previous sidekick models...and from the specs presented here this looks like a quick messaging device. Sorry if stating facts makes me a douche, have a good day.

who said anything about "whose a douche"? And "processor, ram, multi-tasking things of that nature...this COULD be a smartphone don't get me wrong" it does have all of that.
