yeah and with LTE support there won't be any more questions from us power users. damn Samsung dangling that in front of my face. DISTRIBUTE EXYNOS TO MOTOROLA PL0X!!!

they did get extra factories open this year. hopefully that will increase production of the 5xxx line. id love to see that kind of power widely available for multiple manufacturers. we all win that way.
I cant wait to see the first few optimized apps that make these chips chug along.

I still haven't found any evidence that there's anything particularly special about the exynos when compared to the Razr. And smartphoneenvy compared the two and the Razr opened everything faster. Still can't beat Samsung for smoothness when it comes to scrolling on web pages though.

I did start comparing versions on youtube though. Samsung gets the same kind of smoothness and performance out of its Tegra II devices and S3 devices, though the S3 devices still have more lag and occasionally checkerboard. So yeah it's got to be some kind of optimization. They're the only OEM who does their own file system, I guess they just learned alot from the Galaxy SI devices.

i don't know how you don't see it but the Galaxy S II (Exynos Variants) do feel noticeably smoother compared to the Razr. now the Razr is a beast don't get me wrong but Exynos optimized TW4 just feels incredibly smooth and snappy. it exhibits a certain quality that even the sheer power and light interface of the Razr hasn't quite reached yet.

Does it? Honestly my time was limited but I didn't notice any major differences when doing general things on the homescreens. I'll take your word for it though.
I dunno though, I just don't get off on smoothness like some people do. I care more about outright speed as long as smoothness is sufficient which is why I'd chose the Razr(maxx) if I had to get one of the two.
Then again, different day, different connection maybe the GSII woulda been faster, not like there was a massive difference.

yeah, i'm totally with you Bro especially since the trade off for said smoothness is LTE connectivity goodness.

alright.. when starting this conversation, i know you said eyxnos, but what SGS2 variant were you playing with? If it was the skyrocket or the Tmobile SGS2/hercules, it was not an exynos chip. Just wanted to throw that out there.

This confirms Samsung Galaxy 3

So what about LTE do these chips play nice with LTE data?

I just wish that LG makes some badass chip to rule them all because I'm sure they can do it it's just a matter of wanting to do it :D i love LG :D
