Samsung announces four new phones at CTIA

At CTIA Wireless 2005 Samsung introduced three new CDMA phones, which are expected to be available in the second quarter of 2005 as well as a GSM phone, which was previously mentioned at CES and is expected in the first quarter of 2005.

 

A970 – a clamshell-designed phone with swivel display. It features:

  • dual color displays
  • built-in 2.0 megapixels camera with video capture
  • Bluetooth
  • EV-DO high-speed data
  • Advanced Voice Recognition from VoiceSignal
  • Video-on-Demand

A880 – a compact phone with clamshell design. The main features are:

dual color displays

  • 1.3 megapixels camera with flash and video capture
  • PictBridge photo printing
  • 3D User Interface
  • Video-on-Demand

A570 – a slim clamshell-designed phone with the following features:

  • dual color displays

X475 – dual-band GSM/GPRS 900/1900 with clamshell design which will be from T-Mobile. Main features are:
