Samsung did a great job in coming out with new phones, but i think i'm too spoiled by expecting features that are on par with the I8910 HD. Hopefully more info will come out in upcoming weeks/months.

i hate samsung's UI. it's too childish. i guess samsung have always done really simple UI's.. but it's a deal breaker for me. Not customisable enough, and just silly looking.n That touch wiz crap is for 12 year old's.. urk.

yeah the omnia brand is doing well, but i do agree with madesina that the UI is very cartoon-ish and kind of ruins the professional image a smartphone is supposed to portray. Samsung should have different themes to change the appearance of the icons... but i guess if you were pretty good and programming you could always develop your own pictures to replace the current icons, then import them into the UI via a cooked rom... XDA I leave it in your hands as I do not know how to do that sort of thing.

I'm going to have to sort of disagree with you guys. I think it's kind of relieving that it's not the same bland smart phone structure. I am a fan of customization though, hence the sort of disagree. Just when I thought I was going to buy the first Omnia in a month now I'm tempted by the HD, Omnia II and pro. Decisions....

*sigh they're still running win mobile 6.1? Omg, I rather skip Samsung phones as they usually have Symbian or MS Mobile. The features is great but they're usually entertainment stuff.

Ramble alert Warning: First paragraph is my actual post the rest is blah read if you want or skip. ITs bubbly cause phones are going toward being able to us your fingers more with out a stylus. Considering you will probably be able to make it look like what ever you want does it really matter. YOu can switch widgets off and change the screen. Windows 6.5 is not that big of a deal either. It seems to be just cosmetic to also be more finger friendly. I think is pretty cool though. I think they should take a step back and start from scratch with the next releas of wm7 or the next release after that. Maybe keeping the windows mobile line for business and creating a new version that has a completley different aproach such as maybe touching the phone from the back side( wich i think ther is a phone out ther that may do this.. But it would completly improve visibility on front pannel. I think there updating old ideas instead of creating new ideas that makes you go wow, like apple and palm did. Just seems that Microsoft is always a day late and a dollar short on innovation. They amazing don't get me wrong but when they anounc something and when it finally is available is usually so long that it leaves other company's room to steal ideas and improve them so what ever micro is doing is kinda irelivent. (vista) Maybe trying to keep a monster such as Microsoft is comparable to a undefeated team loosing in a championship game to a lesser opponent cause they either got figured out, neverbeen chalanged or never been behind with game on the line. I think apple had no expectations and they hit a homrun on very first pitch but microsoft should really watch and see what palm is doing to reinvent them selfs and take notes. I think the reason palm and apple are getting popular realy is how simple they are to use. Windows is so customizable to use it can be confusing. Espeacialy when you have a so many phones that have that use programs and hardware that are not compatable across the board. LOok at apple and palm. Basicaly one phone each, well for now. One phone and not much options and ther huge. Ther is so much more you can do with windows mobile but most people are not computer freaks. They do not know or care to know how not to make ther phone run like crap. They just want to add a app and have it work. I mean look at all the forums and look at all the silly questions we ask. So when you realize your new top off the line phone is just that., a phone, well it for most comes down how easy it is to opperate so it will actuall be helping you and not consuming all your time. Blah Blahbblahblahblahblahblah bla bla blahblah blah
