too difficult to compete dude... especially with the upcoming key lime pie and HD+ resolution tabs and devices. im pretty sure mobiles with more than 1920x1080 displays would be released within this year! like DNA was released last year!

Galaxy S2, LG Optimus G, etc.
So how much do you get paid to shill for Sony?
21. robotgedek (Posts: 8; Member since: 12 Sep 2012)
I pity that dude, he really didn't know how good sony is with their design and quality. I admit that I've been using Sony products for a long time and I'm really pleased with them.

so you don't even know what you are missing........ only if you were using a galaxy note 2..........

If I had a nickel for every time someone on this site compared a phone to the Note 2 wether it be the iphone, DNA, Xperia, lumia, or even a nexus 4 for Christ's sake, I'd be swimming in them.

i dont think corporates will trust thier data with either samsung or android. if sammy is coming with android , it will be a laughing stock. android is known for selling thier own customers data . blackberry is known for their security and privacy policies.

only thing i like about sony, is SEXY ASS DESIGNS ! but... they are very late in updating their devices, and they don't update all of them, or most of them, just the really new ones...

So Samsung has no right to enter into other business lol...have you not seen the rumoured Sony phablet hmm I wonder why Sony are getting into the phablet section do you think it has something to do with the fact that the note series is doing very well....am a big fan of Sony but to keep on acting as if Sony have never copied is a joke...everyone copies everyone hell have you seen the new htc one if that's true that looks like a iPhone 5...seen the leaked ps4 controller the shape looks like the Xbox 360 controller...seen the optimus g pro looks like the note 2...everyone in this industry copies it'll be stupid not to take que from something that consumers like...reason everyone hates apple and samsung right now because they are at the top if and when they lose there spot who ever takes over will be the next hated thing... Don't know why some people find the reason to hate people or companies that do well...they doing well cause the customer likes them its as simple as that...consumers are fickle that when the next best thing comes out they will be over it but so far everything thats coming is just spec updates which the average consumers could care about its all about softwares which imo samusng are the best at in android...I admit I don't like the look of tw but software features like multi view, direct call, smart rotation etc etc is what makes Samsung stand out. For me Samsung are making the best all

very well said sir your comment is worth reading ;)

wait a minute now sir, wasn't the Dell Streak the first "phablet" style phone? i don't think Samsung can claim to be authentic in anything they do except for maybe their televisions or screen-making b/c all of the their mobile equipment have been improved upon variations of technology that was already there (as most technology is, but people seem to interpret when Samsung does it as innovation which i completely don't get).

Never said they were 1st, but they took risk even though someone else failed and created a device that took advantage of a huge screen and now that Samsung have shown there is a market for extra large devices now every other OEM is jumping to the phablet wagon...I could care less who copies who, if they make a better device than I will buy it...everything is built on others work I just find it funny people act like "there" company has never copied.

The eye can hardly see any difference between 720p and 1080i, going any higher wouldn't give any benefits at all.
Improving battery life should be a priority, not thinking of ways to drain it even faster.
20. raunak (Posts: 458; Member since: 12 Oct 2011)
stop crying all the time.
they ARE improving the battery life. galaxy s2 and s3 pretty much have the same battery life even though s3 has a bigger display AND more resolution. the same goes for onex and dna/butterfly.

since when Sony fansboys are so many here, usually it is Apple fansboy on Samsung topic

The thing with BB is that all the devices are at the same level of security. If Samsung makes a new 'safe' plateform, wont the normal consumers of samsung feel a bit insecure? (even though android is quite safe)
5. Mozarrt (Posts: 285; Member since: 08 Oct 2011)
Very bold statement considering all the reports we get about malware in Android, also originating from the Play Store.
Windows Phone and iOS are quite safe, BB10 is very safe. Android is not.
Any attempt to improve safety on Android should be encouraged.
13. raunak (Posts: 458; Member since: 12 Oct 2011)
i've used both ios and android. in neither i had any problem regarding security. maybe others are more safe than android but its your fault if you download apps without reading reviews and then get caught up in things like malware or anything else. i rarely download apps but whenever i do, i make sure i read reviews first.
17. Mozarrt (Posts: 285; Member since: 08 Oct 2011)
Its like Windows, if you bother actually reading up on stuff nothing will ever happen to you. I applaud people doing that, the same of course goes for Android.
The problem is, not everybody behaves like me and you.
26. PapaSmurf (Posts: 4164; Member since: 14 May 2012)
People who get malware on Android are the one's that side load apps from the internet. The tiniest percent of malware comes from the GPS that it shouldn't even be mentioned.

BB will be fine; all BB need is a good marketing team and a decent & secure OS and no one can touch them because of their history of being a business phone.
Samsung needs to stay focus on the consumers side of the mobile phone, are they will find their self in 3rd or 4th place; this area change fast they have no time to play with business folks.

Wow... Sammy is really becoming the 800lb gorilla in the room. Let's go competition, step it up.
Samsung: All your business are belong to us.
27. feres13 (Posts: 295; Member since: 23 Dec 2011)
I'm sorry sammy but i wouldn't say you're the safest company in the world when it comes to smartphones, nor that android i the safest OS for enterprises : I mean we all know the Exynos bug and how android is prone to viruses. I don't say that android sucks or anything but entreprises are more secure with olther OSes
28. theBankRobber (Posts: 631; Member since: 22 Sep 2011)
I find it very interesting that Samsung tries to take shots at Blackberry with a OS that doesn't belong to them. How about Samsung do what blackberry did and build a OS from scratch and then brag about it. You can't take Android, add a few things and call it yours. Maybe they will rip off blackberry like they did with Apple. Hey great ideas come from stolen ideas right lol
31. taz89 (Posts: 1766; Member since: 03 May 2011)
Lol you Samsung haters are funny...if they supposed to fail they'll fail but it shouldn't mean they shouldn't try going after the business sector...let's not forget Samsung can't fail if everyone else is doing poor themeselves...
35. MC1123 (Posts: 1210; Member since: 12 Nov 2012)
yuck!! samsung!! dont trust them!! they leak so many things!!!
37. iushnt (Posts: 376; Member since: 06 Feb 2013)
Why do you say that? They always manufactured chips and other components for iphone and they were strongly confidential..
38. 9thWonderful (Posts: 227; Member since: 24 Jan 2013)
Apple: "We already have patents in place that ban anyone else from the ability to do anything related to enterprise capability so we motion to sue Samsung for 1.2 billion in addition to halting any production of Galaxy S IV, Mini, or Note 3. We expect a public apology from Samsung as well. As a matter of fact, we find Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Uranus, Earth, each & every star, the Sun and the Moon also guilty as we suspect the aforementioned being guilty of their associations w/the "galaxy" (air quotations) which are in direct cahoots w/Samsung."
Courts: "...motion denied"
