Samsung Vibrant confirmed for T-Mobile, coming July 21st

The T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant still comes with Android 2.1, but some multimedia bonuses have been added to make the offer more enticing. The phone will ship with The Sims 3 preinstalled, and a separate 2GB card will be supplied with James Cameron's “Avatar” movie on it. Now, if they had just added “3D glasses” in that presser, that would spice things up, but alas, no. Still, you have Amazon Kindle for Android, Slacker Radio and MobiTV on board to pass time with.
The Samsung Vibrant for T-Mobile can be all yours for $199 on a contract starting July 21st.

To clarify: " It will also take advantage of T-Mobile's HSPA+ data speed, where available." means that all T-mobile's other smartphones, their max data speeds of usually 7 or 10Mbps can be reached. NOT the max HSPA+ network speeds of 21Mbps. This is NOT an HSPA+ device. But SGS Vibrant FTW for me.

yea, according to the specs listed on the site its only 7.2mb/s max speed. any smartphone on tmobile can do that. When are they gonna launch one that takes advantage of the full 21mb/s!?! complain about that and the lack of flash all i like.. im s till buying it :)

Are there really any phones out there that max out that high right now? I read in several test articles that between the Web Connect Jet and the Rocket there was not a huge difference in data speeds. Hopefully we will see some speeds that go that high in the near future though. Vibrant looks to be a nice phone!

were is the front facing camera? i know some of u might say not a lot of people need it. i know that but it wud still be nice to have one since all the other upcoming phones have one ..

nokia e73 from t-mobile my sister has one. thats the first phone from t-mobile that has a front facing camera.. so why cant this be the 2nd one?
