Samsung U340 is for Verizon

We received information about the entry-level Samsung SCH-U340, which Verizon Wireless is going to launch soon. It is dual-band clamshell with internal antenna and analog roaming, with just basic specifications. It has two small displays and integrated camera with VGA (640x480 pixels) resolution, as well as basic organizer features. Verizon will probably offer it for $29 with a 2-year contract.

The new Samsung SCH-U740 dual-hinged messaging phone is expected to be available for $250, also with a 2-year contract. You can see our hands-on with it here.
