Samsung Trance U490 music phone now available through Verizon

As expected, Verizon has now released the Samsung Trance U490 music phone, which is available in Piano Black and Electric Red variations. The main selling point of the slider is the Bang & Olufsen speaker with ICEpower. Additional features include a 2.1" 176x220 pixel display, 1.3MP camera, touchpad
navigation, Bluetooth, VCast Music with Rhapsody, multitasking capabilities, 3.5mm headset jack, 1GB of
dedicated internal memory for music plus 16GB microSDHC card support. Unfortunately, data has to use 1X since EVDO is not supported. Pricing is $49.99 after $50 rebate on a 2 year contract or $199.99 after rebate if you go for a 1 year contract.

I only played with the sample phone (non-working) so i don't know about the interface and processor but it's not a bad feel... not too big and not too small. Kinda sux that there's no EVDO though... why!?! The Sway too!!
