We take a look at the tablet version of Samsung's newest TouchWiz 4.0 Android user interface overlay, and find it unobtrusive, with some neat ideas, like the Mini Apps tray, and the connectivity toggles in the notification area...

OMG Touch Wiz UX for Honeycomb looks amazing. I love the mini tray. I thought this was going to be the best tablet for a while but now I'm just more excited. Can't wait to buy it.

it looks nice.. still a bit iOS like in some respects, but the mini app function and firewall features are going to be great differentiators between this HC tablet and others. Hopefully XDA wont take too long in ripping this out so we can try it on other tablets as well.. since all the tablets are basically the same otherwise (HC, tegra2, ect)

Way to go Samsung! I don't think Apple is ever going to cough up it's patents to you guys to "AVOID" patent infringements now that you've turned Honeycomb into a iPAD iOS lookalike. Samsung reminds me of every car company that comes out of Korea; they all have a bad habit of replicating the leading company's product. Hyundai for example, has two cars in it's lineup that looks exactly like two different generation Honda Accords.

I hate touch wiz. It makes your phone look like an ugly kids' toy...

Yea but straight ginger is boring as hell. the 3d app draw is blah and kinda annoying for neat freaks.

the mini apps tray looks similar to this idea here
quite interesting that Samsung adapted it so nicely maybe it could work on more apps and other stuff :D

Surprisingly, looks ok. Sure widgets are ugly, but good thing about widgets that they can be easily replaced. The only thing that I hate is a gallery app, looks like crap compared to the stock one. Also the browser skin looks kinda lame.
