Samsung Stratosphere priced at $79 at Staples

Earlier this week Verizon officially announced that the Samsung Stratosphere would be launched by them on Thursday October 13th and would carry a 2-year price of $149.99. Now if you're looking for a real deal, one tipster sent us an image showing that Staples will be offering the Stratosphere for a low price of $79.99 with 2-year contract; a $70 savings over Verizon.

Good deal but I walked pass a Radioshack yesterday and they are still advertising the 100 dollar off Verizon smartphone deal.

I really like this handset. For this price getting lte and a keyboard is really cool. If the battery life is good it should be a major hit.

Only for the past few months. Smart move as business folks move away from company-issued Blackberries and start using their own smartphones. And while it's not specced for power users, the Stratosphere is probably the best example of a business-ready Android.
