Verizon's first LTE enabled side slider, the Samsung Stratosphere, is now listed on the latest version of Big Red's rebate form, according to one of our loyal readers who happens to work for Verizon, but wishes to remain anonymous...

this phone would be the perfect gift for the holidays if it wasn't a mid range.... falls between droid 3 and this..... droid has better specs, but this has lte, though that hasn't been deployed in my area yet

I'm guess no information on what SoC the Stratosphere is running, right? I wonder if Samsung is using it's own Hummingbird or a single-core Snapdragon?

My understanding is that the Stratosphere really is an LTE Epic with a slightly redesigned keyboard. Not that there's anything wrong with that; the Epic's still a great phone! It's between this and the Vigor for me, and I suspect the Vigor will be priced nearly twice as high.
Hmm...the convenience of a keyboard, or the screen, power and memory of the Vigor... hmm....

I just noticed the continuum is on that list. That phone has been around a long time now.
