I suppose I'm one of the minority in the world of mobile enthusiasts that still prefers a QWERTY smartphone; it's nice to see the Stratosphere II get spec bump like this, but I'd still like to see a QWERTY get the works equal to any flagship phone. I'd eagerly choose a QWERTY over any other phone if they didn't always come with caveats.

I'd be willing to take the tradeoff of a lower powered phone for a landscape slider keyboard. Unfortunately, they come few and far between. There were none available for me a few months ago when I was looking for a new phone. Had to settle for one with no keyboard. Took close to 4 months before I got used to it. Hopefully, the next time I need a new phone, these keyboard phones will still be around.

I'm right with you. Even though the Samsung Intercept I had was horrible, I do miss the keyboard. I have a Galaxy Nexus now and I feel like I have to type slower on the touchscreen due to me making numerous mistakes whenever I type fast. Granted, there are some flagship like QWERTY smartphones, such as the DROID 4 and the Photon Q 4G LTE.
