Samsung Saga gets update and possibly unlocked GPS capability
It's been typical fashion for Verizon locking out owners from using alternate third party GPS location based programs – like Google Maps – from being used. So it's also like them to release an update down the road to patch some issues with their phones and most likely unlock the GPS capabilities. Samsung Saga owners will be able to download a ROM update which provides an enhanced zoom for Pocket Internet Explorer, slight UI modifications, latest Microsoft Adaptation Kit Upgrade, and open standalone Location Based Services Supported. The last one being the eye opener – meaning it could be cellular triangulation or GPS. Let's cross our fingers!
