Lol before I clicked on this article my boyfriend saw were it said LTE enabled so he obviously got his hopes up cuz he has Verizon. But as soon as he clicked it and he saw it said atts LTE bands for its upcoming LTE network he got sad. I'm actually happy it has atts LTE bands because I have att my boyfriend is the one with Verizon. And I live in the windy city Chicago were att already turned on there LTE. So screw the galaxy s2 att just announced a few days ago ima just wait for this phone. I kno some people might get mad at me and be all like well att may have LTE in ur area but its nationwide LTE is a joke when compared to Verizon. I don't care because I never ever go out of the state I'm always in Chicago so ima always be inside atts LTE area.

@holy shyyt don't hate on ginadagelatina lol cuz she lives in an att LTE area and this phone supports at&ts LTE, I bet ur on Verizon and I could bet on my *** son that ur ANGRY that Verizon didn't get a galaxy s2 phone. And now they announce the At&t LTE version and I bet that was the last straw for u I bet ur even more mad.

Verizon isn't getting the Nexus Prime, they're getting the "Droid Prime," it will have Nexus Prime internals only and another one of Motorola's recycled designs. T-Mobile will be getting the real Nexus Prime, after the SGS2.

I put "Prime" for short not Nexus Prime. I was aware of it being named to "Droid Prime" and thats what I meant when I said the Prime. Ill make sure I use the full name next time for your sake.

Easy britney..... he ain't hatin on her. All he said was use some damn commas in ur wall of text ;) I tend to agree. And this phone isn't announced at all yet. Remember that phone that PA thought was AT&T's GS2 with a slide-out keyboard? Where's that phone? Just cause the FCC looks at it doesn't mean it's comin out yet. I have AT&T myself, here in NY. And I'm lookin forward to LTE here because of the better building penetration over HSPA+ (3.5G)

@devon ur retarded first of all the prime has not been announced so its still not official and knowing Verizon it will be released by2013 cuz lets face it they ALWAYS lag it with the good phones if u say no then u in denial cuz its the truth, if the prime does exist somewhere then i will be a very happy gurl . Hopefully they will announce it soon cuz I wanted the s2 like that ginadagelatina person but fkin Verizon didn't get it so ill just wait for the prime. 2nd of all I agree its my fault I FORGOT to mention I'm also on Verizon.

I agree wit devon and britneyj in somethings.. I'm on Verizon I was about to get a droid charge cuz I'm available for an upgrade I'm still rockin by bb storm but since I'm already eligible for an upgrade I was thinking of getting the s2 but Verizon didn't get it :'(. And I'm pretty sure like britneyj above me said knowing Verizon they will prolly never get the s2. And like Devon said hopefully they get the prime cuz its sounds like its gonna be good. But again like Britneyj said Verizon always takes forever to get good phones they will most likely also get the prime somwhere next year :( . I'm tired of waiting its not fair that the other companies will be getting the s2 and att an LTE version. Its just not fair for us people on Verizon cuz lets face it the s2 is a powerhouse its an awesome phone that I'm pretty sure it wud sell a lot on Verizon. . I still have my hopes up for the droid bionic which is the phone I will probably end up getting when its out. I just hope its good because I never had Motorola.

The thing is Verizon didnt deny the S2 just to screw over there customers. They denied it for a good reason and the Droid Prime while not confirmed yet makes perfect sense why they would drop out of carrying the S2. It would be the successor to the Charge. As far as verizon delaying there good phones... As far as I know I can only count the Bionic and that was Motorolas call. Would you have rather had it come out 5 months ago in the state it was in then or now when its still a great device? Thats just my opinion though.

If ATT does get this, and I guess its a 50/50 shot between this and the HTC Holiday since ATT's head honcho said at a CTIA keynote last week ONE LTE smartphone will be available at the end of the year in the United States,
I have to wonder about the current data plans on AT&T though. Are they going to offer higher data caps like Verizon to support LTE? 4 GB data cap isn't enough to support an data "speed demon" like this. And of course "speed demon" is used in this loosest sense of the word since ATT's LTE network is pretty young and next to non-existent.
