It have been just a few days since the first high-quality pictures of the highly anticipated LG VX9900 appeared online, but now here it comes a device that can make you forget the successor of the V (VX9800) the new Samsung SCH-U710 is small clamshell phone, with the size of a RAZR, which has dual-hinged design (resembling the D307, which Cingular carried before) with full QWERTY keyboard when in landscape orientation.

The CDMA phone of course supports EV-DO data, features speakerphone and microSD slot, and its Bluetooth seems to be capable of audio streaming to various headsets, getting rid of any wires. Support for A2DP is also present, and the music features are expanded with dedicated keys on the front cover.

Another big improvement is that the Samsung U710 is the first non-LG phone featuring the flash themes for customization of the Verizon UI.

Samsung SCH-U710 already cleared the FCC approval, so its launch may happen very soon.
