Already, we’ve seen a minor update pushed out to the handset soon after its release, which brought along mostly bug fixes. This time around, though, the latest software update brings the eco-friendly handset to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. In fact, the update is starting...

The Nexus S is getting ICS...The Samsung Replenish is getting 2.3. The AT&T Captivate and Verizon Facinate NO 2.3. I am sick of these garbage phones getting 2.3 updates and getting released with 2.3. All the Galaxy Devices should get 2.3 ASAP!!! The Replenish cannot handle this software and it can barely handle 2.2. Didnt Sprint learn from the Optimus S?

rwold1984, the optimus s's system was not built working with samsung. the samsung replenish WILL samsung working on its 2.3, LG said that ALL! there NEW! updates on there phones ARE! ganan be realsed the SAME! way the optimus S was. to fix the optimus's problem you had to HardReset to device completly.
and the replenish was built with froyo, the captivate and facinate will eventually get the ICS considering SPRINT! is one of the few carriers that has a nexus that DIDNT! get ICS the day it realesed.. they made 2 diffrent ones. one for GMS, and the other for somthing else. sprint uses GMS

Obviously you are completely clueless about phones, carriers, software, and the English language. Nothing you said made any sense what so ever. A hard reset did not fix the issues with the 2.3 on the Optimus S. It actually had to be downgraded to 2.2. The Captivate and Fascinate are not going to get an official ICS release from Samsung. Respectively they are Samsung Galaxy S devices on AT&T and Verizon. I bet my life savings on that. No carrier was given ICS for the Nexus S it has been recalled. Samsung sucks at software updates. It is very disappointing that low end phones that did not sell very well like the Replenish are going to get 2.3 before the rest of the Galaxy S line-up in the USA. Much respect to Sprint because they have managed to realize the dream of having 2.3 on the Galaxy S Epic 4G unlike the competitors AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile...

Yet the infuse has been promised this update multiple times last year, and never got it...
