Samsung Intensity II for Verizon is coming out soon & for real cheap too

It shouldn't be long now before the Samsung Intensity II is released for Verizon as photos of a display mock unit of the phone was snapped hovering about at a Best Buy location. Smartphones may be all the rave right now, but most carriers still rely heavily on the feature phone category for their true bread and butter. We'd imagine that the original model proved to be a decent seller for both Samsung and Verizon as this successor is just about on the verge of launching. Following the same approach, the handset packs a landscape sliding QWERTY, 2-megapixel camera, and Bluetooth while sporting an inexpensive $1.00 price tag with an accompanying 2-year agreement. That's surely cheap enough on any budget, but you can also say the same for its no-contract price of $249.99 – so you'll just have to weigh all of your options before making some decision. No word yet on any actual release date, but it's definitely looking like Best Buy will be offering it some time sooner than later.

I have the Intensity (1) and the camera on it isn't half bad. Good color quality. I expect the 2 will be as good.

I took this. Would have done a live one, but we didn't get many. Very nice over all. Come in this Blue and then gray with orange.

Was the keyboard as flat as the original Intensity? And was it more spaced out?

this phone's camera has a night vision setting which actually works pretty good if you're standing about 2-3 feet away from what you're trying to snap a picture of in total darkness...

So long as the night-shot setting works better than it did on the Joke, oh I mean Juke, it should be decent.

The camera is only 1.3 MP, I was at Best Buy today and it was on display, very similar but an improved version of the Intensity, but with the same camera.
