at this point it is really up in the air. this phone was acctually on the Best Buy website for a day stating that it was an upcoming phone but for some unknown reason it was taken off. Verizon did want this phone to be out by now and that is why it has been on the last two rebate list's but do to technical reason's the phone has not been released. This is not verizon's fault either because samsung is the one providing the firmware which is the problem to some extent. Before best buy had taken off the glyde from thier website i called them up on two different occasions the first time they told me possibly april 26th ( which was probably the next shipment of verizon phones) and the second they told me was the first week of may. this shows that at this point there is not definate release date its just a mystery.

Nope, it's 2.5mm. Just so you know, the small jack size has nothing to do whatsoever with VZW. That is decided by the manufacturer. 2.5mm jacks are pretty much standard for cell phones, regardless of carrier or manufacturer. Of course there are some exceptions, but for the most part 2.5mm is what we'll keep seeing. And a piece of info: while the Glyde is no longer ob Best Buy's website, it is on Wirefly, with new pics, etc. Note that the description and some of the specs belong to the Voyager. It is assumed at the moment that this description, etc. is being used as a placeholder until the official specs for the Glyde are released. I was wondering how reliable wirefly.com is because i noticed that they said that the glyde will have mobile tv, and that zooming in on the web is much like that of the i-phone!

Like I said, the general consensus is that the Voyager description is being used as a placeholder for the time being.

That's still unknown and it will most likely stay that way until right before it's released, and I mean RIGHT before, as in a few days before.

samsungglyde.com is a fan made site that hasn't been updated since the HTML browser was confirmed. It DOES, absolutely, positively, 100% have an HTML browser!!!
