Samsung's new smartwatch, the Gear S3 has already made its debut in Europe, but customers in the United States will have wait a while longer. The South Korean company confirmed the
Gear S3 smartwatch will arrive in the U.S. sometime this month.
It looks like Best Buy is the first retailer in the country that confirmed the Gear S3 will soon be available for purchase. The smartwatch is now listed on Best Buy webstore, but customers can't order one yet.
However, since it shows as “coming soon,” so we suspect it won't be long until Best Buy starts taking pre-orders for the Gear S3. If you're wondering how much it will cost, you'll be pleased to know that Best Buy will sell the smartwatch for $349.99.
Two versions of the smartwatch will soon be available for the same price: the
Gear S3 Frontier and Gear S3 Classic. Both come with 1.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen displays with 360 x 360 pixels resolution.
It's also worth mentioning that the Gear S3 will only be compatible with selected smartphones. Both included wireless charging docks inside their sales packages. On top of that, the Gear S3 smartwatches feature water-resistant design, Bluetooth 4.2 and connectivity NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.
