Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 get their own CyanogenMod 10 and AOSP Jelly Bean ROMs
Samsung's popular Galaxy Tab 10.1, which just got cleared from its patent infringement injunction yesterday, is next in line to receive an AOSP and CM10 Android ROMs.

The CyanogenMod crew has been cooking a CM10 ROM for the device, as well as its smaller sibling, the Galaxy Tab 8.9, but the CM10 is more stable for the Tab 10.1, while the AOSP runs better on the Tab 8.9.

All four ROMs are available for downloads at their respective developer threads at XDA-Devs in the source links below, and, as usual with those early builds, not all features are working, and these vary between the devices and ROMs.

I'm running an ICS ROM, and it works great! I'm a graphic designer located in NY, and my Galaxy Tab 8.9 is the perfect compliment to my career. In addition to a great OS, the Tab runs on AT&T's 4G LTE! Wonderful.

i think you mean "complement" but anyway, I agree. :-) I have the same issues here in Dallas as a real estate agent. (And, same network -- AT-T, 4GLTE). The operating system is key: speed or intuitiveness. That's key; I hate learning things all over again like click patterns, etc.

Hey! Can you share the info on the ICS ROM you have on your Galaxy Tab 8.9 please?
